This is a collection of sixty-one poems written over a period spanning a little over three decades (1965-1998). Thus, the author clearly is not a prolific writer. The poems are obviously experienced based, not something churned out for the sake of making up numbers for whatever reason. The result is a unique sublimation of the ordinary into a much higher plane of perception and feeling. They encompass personal relationships, places, nature, own and family activities and such. Many have a clearly spiritual bent. The language is direct and simple. So is the form. The content is presented in clear, straightforward, simple sentences and statements arranged in a way appropriate to the form and subject.
