Notes: Ordered published by the Board of Chosen Freeholders of Hudson County.
The basis of the work is the manuscript Field book prepared in 1764-1765 by commissioners appointed by the legislature of New Jersey "for finally settling and determining the several rights, titles & claims to the common lands of the township of Bergen."
The atlas includes facsimiles of the map (in 3 parts) made to accompany the Field book of 1764-1765, also facsimile of the map made to accompany the Field book of 1784-1785.
