It features the life stories of ten Wisconsin women who played pioneering roles in the state's labor movement from the 1920s through the 1990s. The stories, with extensive quotations and many inspiring anecdotes, were drawn from interviews conducted with the subjects through the Women of Wisconsin Labor Oral History Project. The book was written and published with the assistance of a Wisconsin Sesquicentennial grant. It is available from the Wisconsin Labor History Society at: [http://www.wisconsinlaborhistory.org/?page_id=39] [1][link text]
