Nigurananda (Professor Sachidananda Sarkar)

1935 -

Nigurananda was born on 15th November, 1935. His formal name is Sachidananda Sarkar. He is a retired professor of history with a very strong depth in science.
Initially he started writing ordinary novels. After meeting with the 'Mahabatar' Yogi of Himalaya and getting 'Shaktipat Diksha' from him, Nigurananda had been writing books on spirituality. His first spiritual book was 'Mrityu ood Paraloka' followed by another book on yoga 'Dibyajagat oo Daibivhasa'. After that he had written more than a dozen of spiritual books.
The themes of his writing and research are yoga, spirituality, spirituality and rituals of all popular religions, scientific manifestation of spirituality, deities, extra sensory perception, paranormal phenomena, serpent power inside human being, astral travel and astral vision. All his writings reflect a perfect blending of history, science and his own spiritual experiences. He has always been advocating laboratory based scientific explorations on yoga and biofield energies.
Thousands of people had learnt the 'transcendental meditation technique' from Nigurananda to achieve the self-existence in high spiritual planes. Presently Nigurananda lives with a very deep ‘samadhi’ most of the time.
