PHOTO/PEINTURE/LE MONDE A TABLE

Patrick Denaud observe et photographie les hommes se nourrissant partout dans le monde. Passionné par les traditions culinaires des peuples il a écrit de nombreux ouvrages (textes et photos) sur l'alimentation. Pour élargir aux yeux du public l’image de la nourriture en montrant qu'au-delà de l’acte de manger physiquement (besoin et plaisir), il existe une dégustation "culturelle" qui l'affine et la complète. Patrick Denaud décide de donner une autre dimension à ses images: travailler avec des peintres, la disposition, le recadrage, l’éclairage, les couleurs, la matière. Les peintres transforment une information photographique en une information picturale pour obtenir une peinture Antiréaliste Foodeat, peinture dont l'unique sujet est l'Homme et la nourriture.
