William H. Fonvielle (b. 1943) is the owner of Performance Measurement Associates, a Massachusetts-based business consulting firm, and the founder of Promising Outcomes LLP. He is a recognized authority on metrics of customer and employee satisfaction. His writings on management include From Manager to Innovator: Using Information to Become an Idea Entrepreneur. Fonvielle received his undergraduate education at Shimer College, a small Great Books college, where he enrolled via the early entrance program. He subsequently studied philosophy at the doctoral level at Northwestern University in the 1960s, there founding Northwestern Students for Civil Rights.
