He was born in Urbino (Italy) and lives in Venice (Italy) where he teaches History of Art (Istituto Statale d'Arte). Exhibition's curator and scholar in venetian history of art, history of architecture and town planning. Now he is studying: sacred art, iconology, art teaching. Books and articles about: English town planning and housing, the Palmanova's fortress, the painter Tintoretto, Saint Marc the evangelist, arts and crafts in Venice (Gambrinus Prize), the Ducal Palace Capitals in Venice. He is the author of an important illustrated guide titled "The Treasures of Venice", edited by White Star and National Geographic, which has been translated into English, French, Spanish, German and Hungarian.
