0 Burton Russell, a  native of Kentville, Nova Scotia and a graduate of Acadia University with BA and BEd.degrees , later earned diplomas in Physical Education and School Administration from the Nova Scotia Department of Education.  For a total of 35 years, he served as a highschool teacher-coach in Annapolis Valley-based schools.
