Known problems

  • Duplicate editions
  • Duplicate works
  • Duplicate authors
  • Database dumps are out of date
  • Unicode character problems (Bug 225828)
  • Work pages with many editions are slow (Bug 551316)
  • Subject search index isn't updated
  • Adding a work to a subject doesn't make it appear on the subject page
  • Some books that appear on Amazon.com are missing from the Open Library (Bug 503497)
