According to Dr. Jain, the main cause of more than 80% of diseases is mental stress which is the adaptation of the body and mind to change. The human genome is influenced by chemistry, mental activity, and consciousness. This leads to physical, physiological, psychological, and emotional consequences. This threatens happiness and manifests as different forms of stress-related VATA ailments and PRANA disorders. The main killers among themselves are blood pressure, coronary heart disease, peptic ulcer, depression, diabetes, Autism, Parkinson's disease, and several neuro-muscular, neurodegenerative, and mitochondrial ailments. Dr. Jain considers Ayurvedic Panchakarma procedures, Rasayana treatment & Yogic support as the best treatment and also a precautionary measure against all of them.
